Fabiano Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fabiano de Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the 27 de Mayo defense, Paulo José das Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabiano Romero. Bruno Martini made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Fiori Sá sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the Manchester United FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
