Lorenzo Rodrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jakub Indyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Soares having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Luix Larquera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guando floripa F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luix Larquera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Guando floripa F.C fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Guando floripa F.C's Marcelo Dal Bello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Didi Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guando floripa F.C. Didi Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Dionísio went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Guando floripa F.C's Marcelo Dal Bello got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44thth minute of the game Marcelo Dal Bello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timbahuba SC's Didi Soares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Dal Bello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Timbahuba SC defense, Rui Dionísio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didi Soares. The Timbahuba SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didi Soares should have stopped the shot. Marcelo Dal Bellos short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Didi Soares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Didi Soares managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Guando floripa F.C's Marcelo Dal Bello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Timbahuba SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guando floripa F.C the free kick. Mathias Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Eliseu de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timbahuba SC and the Guando floripa F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Timbahuba SC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eliseu de Toledo hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Marcelo Dal Bello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Didi Soares. Timbahuba SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Dal Bello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. Didi Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Dal Bello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Olivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Soares having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Timbahuba SC's zone, Marcelo Dal Bello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Didi Soares came out of the goal and Marcelo Dal Bello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes, Marcelo Dal Bello made it 1-11 with a short kick to the right side. Timbahuba SC's Didi Soares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 89 minutes, Jakub Indyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guando floripa F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Indyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Didi Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Dal Bello, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Marcelo Dal Bello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Didi Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Olivar in the 95th minute. Didi Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Dal Bello in the 96th minute of play.
