After some careless play in the Timbahuba SC defense, Marcelinho Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didi Soares. The Timbahuba SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didi Soares should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Timbahuba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Hermes came free, but Didi Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Marcelinho Hermes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milan da Freguesia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Jardel Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Didi Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho Hermes's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Carlos Fernando Branco made a great header on Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s corner, it was just that Timbahuba SC's Didi Soares managed to reach the ball for a save. The Timbahuba SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Milan da Freguesia F.C. were winning 0-8.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelinho Hermes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 83rd minute, Lin Xiang Yang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Didi Soares. The goal made the score 0-15. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Timbahuba SC! 0-16 came in the 88th minute when Carlos Fernando Branco all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Didi Soares. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Lin Xiang Yang took a quick shot and it went in 0-17 without a chance for Didi Soares to make any attempt to save it. Eliseu de Toledo's late challenge caught a Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseu de Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Eliseu de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lin Xiang Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Didi Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Lin Xiang Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Didi Soares. Didi Soares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-18. The Timbahuba SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Milan da Freguesia F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
