Spectators: 7743 (Terracing: 5809, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Chiquinho Santana started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Inácio Vides made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santo Amaro AC's Carlos Eduardo Marquez. Cipriano Hermes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Fiori Arruda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Nelson Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Maracachita SS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomás Pinheiro in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Polozov in the 14th minute of play forced Maracachita SS's goalkeeper Fiori Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Nelson Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Fiori Arruda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eduard Polozov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Fiori Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Arósio in the 25th minute of play. Nelson Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hudson Arósio having to make a save. Hudson Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Soeiro in the 30th minute of the match. Eduard Polozov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Arruda having to interfere. Fiori Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiori Arruda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Arósio's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Santo Amaro AC booed when Maracachita SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Hermes to strike the kick off in the second half. Inácio Vides struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Hudson Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maracachita SS. After having played for 57 minutes, Chiquinho Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maracachita SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chiquinho Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maracachita SS's Fiori Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Arósio in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Eduard Polozov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santo Amaro AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 71st minute, Eduard Polozov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fiori Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, João Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maracachita SS's supporters rose to their feet, but João Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hudson Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fiori Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Polozov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Maracachita SS's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Hermes came free, but Fiori Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelson Fernandes got free with Hudson Arósio in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Cipriano Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiquinho Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hudson Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Chiquinho Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maracachita SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquinho Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hudson Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
