In the 15th match minute, E.C.Pelotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Vides to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes of play, Feil Futebol Club's Nesor Rancel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sobhy Paredes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfonso Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor de Moraes having to interfere. Vítor de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Leon, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Sobhy Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Alfonso Leon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor de Moraes having to make a save. Sobhy Paredes came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Feil Futebol Club's Nesor Rancel. But to his dismay, Nesor Rancel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nesor Rancel made a kick off. Murilo Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vítor de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Feil Futebol Club's Mauro Vidal got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Alfonso Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Leon took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vítor de Moraes. Vítor de Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. E.C.Pelotas made a substitution. Luke Modrić replaced Alfonso Leon. Sobhy Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Dzerwucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Wesley Hermes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Feil Futebol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E.C.Pelotas the free kick. A collision led to Feil Futebol Club getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Wesley Hermes hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Luke Modrić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Murilo Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor de Moraes was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. José de Mendonça hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Murilo Neto scored 4-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor de Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute Erivaldo Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erik Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89thth minute of the game Murilo Neto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feil Futebol Club's Vítor de Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Murilo Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Mikolaj Haszczak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Feil Futebol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E.C.Pelotas the free kick. E.C.Pelotas's Benjamin Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feil Futebol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
