Spectators: 7703 (Terracing: 5779, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Teodosio Aguilera made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho de Medeiros came free, but Wambasther Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match Manhuacu got a corner. Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lenílson Botelho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Lenílson Botelho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lacothengo de Futiboloca's Wambasther Barthez did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betinho de Medeiros got free with Wambasther Barthez in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wambasther Barthez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betinho de Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Bebeto Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Pirani in the 11th minute of the match. Lacothengo de Futiboloca's Wambasther Barthez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Lacothengo de Futiboloca from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's Paulo Pirani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bebeto Capixaba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Manhuacu got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Brito. Bebeto Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Pirani in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Manhuacu's Aloísio Brito got a free kick in the 25th minute. Betinho de Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wambasther Barthez having to make a save. In the 31st minute Betinho de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wambasther Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Leal in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Paulo Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Aguilera in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pirani in the 43rd minute of play forced Manhuacu's goalkeeper Bebeto Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goalkeeper Wambasther Barthez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Betinho de Medeiros.

The wind increased when João Augusto Neiva made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Manhuacu's goalkeeper Bebeto Capixaba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Pirani. Bebeto Capixaba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Pirani in the 58th minute. In the 60th match minute, Lacothengo de Futiboloca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Otoniel to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Lenílson Botelho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wambasther Barthez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bruno Quintin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bebeto Capixaba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes Lacothengo de Futiboloca got a freekick which was hit by Gino Monteiro. 67 minutes into the game, Manhuacu's João Augusto Neiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wambasther Barthez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 74 minutes into the match, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Brito came free, but Wambasther Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wambasther Barthez came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Manhuacu's Aloísio Brito. But to his dismay, Aloísio Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 85th match minute, Manhuacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Augusto Neiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute João Augusto Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wambasther Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Fausto Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bebeto Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
