With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fiori Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Dito Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Fabiano Secco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fiori Arruda. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Black Storm FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Fernandes came free, but Edvaldo Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chiquinho Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fiori Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Mesquita went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Luís Fabiano Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fiori Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Black Storm FC's Toninho Guerra got a free kick in the 79th minute. During the 83rd minute of the match Luís Fabiano Secco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luís Fabiano Secco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 83rd match minute, Black Storm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Secco to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, one of Black Storm FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Chiquinho Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maracachita SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquinho Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
