Spectators: 7611 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamim Varela in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Prado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christiano Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Mendonça having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Magno Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bussolo FC's Oscar Prado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Christiano Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Agostinho Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bussolo FC's Marc Svanberg got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magno Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Oscar Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nova Descoberta - RN's Magno Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magno Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernando Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Agostinho Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bussolo FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magno Pinheiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Magno Pinheiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Prado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magno Pinheiro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 52nd minute, Glauco Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Prado had great luck who in the 53rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Benjamim Varela from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Geraldo Cruz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Oscar Prado was a little too slow when Benjamim Varela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Nova Descoberta - RN's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Madureira came free, but Agostinho Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bussolo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Magno Pinheiro scored to the left of an out of position Oscar Prado, making the score, 1-2. In the 74th minute Christiano Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Magno Pinheiro notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Bussolo FC's Oscar Prado. Oscar Prado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Bussolo FC's Marc Svanberg got a free kick in the 80th minute. Magno Pinheiros short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Oscar Prado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rd match minute, Nova Descoberta - RN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, Bussolo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Madureira to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Marc Svanberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Magno Pinheiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Oscar Prado was a little too slow when Benjamim Varela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-4. When the match was over Nova Descoberta - RN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bussolo FC throughout the match.
