But to his dismay, Jerônimo Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to S.E.Bangu getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Eliézer de Sena hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, S.E.Bangu's Benê Costa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Soulis Papadopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Grönberg in the 28th minute of the match. Mauro Arce struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Soulis Papadopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matungo Gaúcho. Soulis Papadopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Guedes in the 80th minute of the match. Soulis Papadopoulos made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jerônimo Prestes sent off a good shot on target. Soulis Papadopoulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. 89 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's Nilton Guedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Soulis Papadopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Soulis Papadopoulos was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Patrik Grönberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrik Grönberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerônimo Prestes got free with Soulis Papadopoulos in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, S.E.Bangu's Felipe Lago got a free kick in the 97th minute. Nilton Guedes took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Soulis Papadopoulos. Soulis Papadopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. The S.E.Bangu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Matungo Gaúcho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
