The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fausto Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Enes Enescu made a huge save. Soulis Papadopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enes Enescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Vander in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Fausto Vander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enes Enescu. Fausto Vander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Safety Center Segurança's goalkeeper Enes Enescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Vander. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Fausto Vander took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Enes Enescu to make any attempt to save it. Fausto Vander in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enes Enescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 23 minutes into the match, Fausto Vander notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Safety Center Segurança's Enes Enescu. Enes Enescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Soulis Papadopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Volkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Luan de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Enes Enescu made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, S.E.Bangu's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Nasta came free, but Soulis Papadopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Soulis Papadopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Nasta, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Arthur Schmidt put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Safety Center Segurança's Arthur Schmidt got a free kick in the 48th minute. S.E.Bangu's Clemente Cerezo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 49th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Enes Enescu but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fausto Vander made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Boris Volkov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Soulis Papadopoulos. Boris Volkov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Fausto Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enes Enescu having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, S.E.Bangu's goal looked a bit too open when Calistrat Nasta came free, but Soulis Papadopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho de Queiroz in the 70th minute of play forced Safety Center Segurança's goalkeeper Enes Enescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benê Costa's late challenge caught a Safety Center Segurança's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benê Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, S.E.Bangu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Costa to maneuver through the defense. Chiquinho de Queiroz took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enes Enescu. Enes Enescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 78 minutes into the match, Safety Center Segurança's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Lago came free, but Enes Enescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Indartsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Soulis Papadopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Fausto Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Safety Center Segurança's Enes Enescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan de Lara in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Safety Center Segurança's Samuca Albuquerque got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the game, S.E.Bangu's Chiquinho de Queiroz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enes Enescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Boris Volkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Soulis Papadopoulos having to interfere. Safety Center Segurança's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
