Bussolo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Descoberta - RN the free kick. A collision led to Bussolo FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marc Svanberg hit a great ball. Oscar Prado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamim Varela went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Oscar Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Christiano Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Descoberta - RN's Agostinho Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agostinho Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Carvalho in the 32nd minute of play. When Cosimo Mirto fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bussolo FC's protests and gave Cosimo Mirto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bussolo FC's Cosimo Mirto got a free kick in the 34th minute. André Luís de Queiroz's late challenge caught a Bussolo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Luís de Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Nova Descoberta - RN got a freekick which was hit by André Luís de Queiroz. Nova Descoberta - RN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. André Luís de Queiroz got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 67th match minute, Nova Descoberta - RN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Israel Segundo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bussolo FC's Gernando Carvalho tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Benjamim Varela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Prado. Bussolo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Gernando Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Madureira in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agostinho Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agostinho Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gernando Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Agostinho Mendonça when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Madureira in the 89th minute of play forced Nova Descoberta - RN's goalkeeper Agostinho Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agostinho Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gernando Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. Agostinho Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Gernando Carvalho notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Nova Descoberta - RN's Agostinho Mendonça. Agostinho Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christiano Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Nova Descoberta - RN fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bussolo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
