The audience was convinced that David Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilie Grecescu was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Fireball Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when David Quintal came free, but Ilie Grecescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 52 minutes of play, Real Madrid FC's David Quintal made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute Tiaguinho Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jackson Dumora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Madrid FC's David Quintal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ilie Grecescu. That made the score 1-3 after 65 minutes of play. In the 72nd minute, Gil Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jackson Dumora was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. After 82 played minutes Fireball Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gil Magalhães. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
