When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Alberto Spencer put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Valdir Pérez. 31 minutes into the game, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Caio Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdir Pérez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Alberto Spencer took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Spencer in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Pérez saved União Verde FC from getting behind. Alberto Spencer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Pérez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Silva in the 41st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Caio Silva put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Valdir Pérez. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 60th minute, Domenico Faieta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valdir Pérez. The goal made the score 0-10. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Alberto Spencer put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Faieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, União Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Falcão to maneuver through the defense. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Hermínio Vinhas was substituted for Amadeu de Alcântara. MOC ⚽ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. 81 minutes in the game, Alberto Spencer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. If Alberto Spencer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 83 minutes of play, ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Alberto Spencer made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egídio Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Damião in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Alberto Spencer lined in a short shot 0-15 behind a frustrated Valdir Pérez. Ricardo Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gatot Fierro. ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
