Spectators: 7702 (Terracing: 5778, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nathan Fernandes got the match started through his kick off. 15 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Endura came free, but Valdir Pérez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nathan Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. In the 21st minute, União Verde FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nathan Fernandes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Nathan Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Tavares in the 26th minute of play. After 27th play minutes Toninho Tavares shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Gerson Vianna and just under the crossbar into goal. After 32 played minutes União Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte do Vale. Jacinto Endura took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Enio Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Gerson Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto de Salles in the 43rd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Rolo Compressor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Pires to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathan Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Pérez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 51st minute, Nathan Fernandes made a precise shot to the right of Valdir Pérez. União Verde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The audience was convinced that Bebeto de Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerson Vianna was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Toninho Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Gerson Vianna made a huge save. If Nathan Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdir Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Endura in the 64th minute of play. Rolo Compressor FC's Nathan Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Jacinto Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdir Pérez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Endura, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jacinto Endura might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdir Pérez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Endura ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of União Verde FC booed when Rolo Compressor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathan Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Nathan Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolo Compressor FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
