Osvaldinho Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Freire having to make a save. The 13 DE MAIO MZC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when 13 DE MAIO MZC's Frederico Botelho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13th match minute, Oranil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Proença to maneuver through the defense. If Osvaldinho Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Frederico Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Sérgio Freire. Oranil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Botelho in the 17th minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Sérgio Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Frederico Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. 13 DE MAIO MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldinho Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Ismael Zemmamouche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Freire. Oranil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Zemmamouche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederico Botelho in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Freire saved Oranil from getting behind. Sérgio Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Edson de Salles notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Oranil's Sérgio Freire. Sérgio Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, one of Oranil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oranil. Sérgio Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Frederico Botelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Freire. Oranil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederico Botelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Botelho to make the kick off. In the 51st play minute Frederico Botelho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sérgio Freire. 0-8. When Frederico Botelho, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sérgio Freire was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Frederico Botelho took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Sérgio Freire to make any attempt to save it. When 13 DE MAIO MZC's Frederico Botelho in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oranil's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Frederico Botelho notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Oranil's Sérgio Freire. Sérgio Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of 13 DE MAIO MZC booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Mário Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osvaldinho Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 DE MAIO MZC's Frederico Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oranil's Sérgio Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Botelho in the 91st minute of play. Sérgio Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Botelho in the 92nd minute of play. 13 DE MAIO MZC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
