União Verde FC's Luciano Lauaxeta got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick Vander might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egídio Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Vander couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Maciel came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Hermínio Vinhas. But to his dismay, Hermínio Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 77th minute, Daniel Amaral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Egídio Salgado. The goal made the score 2-1.
