After 5 minutes, İlhami Tor made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Itália's Rodriguinho Motta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Real Madrid FC booed when Itália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Itália's goal looked a bit too open when İlhami Tor came free, but Rodriguinho Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Itália's Beolagh Cambuquira got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Júlio Furlan came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Real Madrid FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Furlan couldn't finish the play. Itália's Rodriguinho Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhami Tor in the 15th minute of play. Rodriguinho Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlhami Tor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İlhami Tor took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodriguinho Motta. Rodriguinho Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, İlhami Tor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodriguinho Motta. Itália's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İlhami Tor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İlhami Tor in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Motta saved Itália from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Quintal in the 32nd minute of play forced Itália's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, İlhami Tor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Rodriguinho Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Motta having to interfere. Rodriguinho Motta came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid FC's Afonsinho Queiroz. But to his dismay, Afonsinho Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Rodriguinho Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Quintal in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 minutes of play, Real Madrid FC's İlhami Tor made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodriguinho Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Quintal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Quintal got free with Rodriguinho Motta in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Severino Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itália's protests and gave Severino Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Itália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beolagh Cambuquira to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, İlhami Tor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodriguinho Motta, 0-10. In the 71st minute, Marcos Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of Rodriguinho Motta. Itália's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. 74 minutes into the match, Itália's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Magalhães. The crowd rose to their feet as David Quintal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodriguinho Motta. That made the score 0-14 in the 79 minute of play. Itália's Rodriguinho Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Quintal in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Real Madrid FC's İlhami Tor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. Marcos Magalhães was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Real Madrid FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Itália getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Severino Alvarenga hit a great ball. Itália's Rodriguinho Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Quintal in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Quintal in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Motta saved Itália from getting behind. In the 93rdth minute of the game İlhami Tor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itália's Rodriguinho Motta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Itália defense, İlhami Tor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodriguinho Motta. The Itália fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodriguinho Motta should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Real Madrid FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Itália throughout the match.
