Spectators: 5925 (Terracing: 4003, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Beneficiente's Edgar Appel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilian Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. td2's Sandro Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Appel in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, td2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nurkan Özek to maneuver through the defense. td2's Robinho de Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of td2 booed when Beneficiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. td2's Sandro Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Santos in the 21st minute of play. After 27 played minutes Beneficiente got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Viana. In the 29th match minute, td2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Havier to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, td2's Rômulo da Silveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lara Peñaranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute Edgar Appel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antônio Souto in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Mesquita saved td2 from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Edgar Appel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of td2's Sandro Mesquita. Sandro Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The td2 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Beneficiente were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Paulo Ganix made the kick off in the second half. Rômulo da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lara Peñaranda having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Rômulo da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. td2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rômulo da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lara Peñaranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Ganix, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, td2's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Appel came free, but Sandro Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zézinho Paulista took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Mesquita. Sandro Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 72nd match minute, td2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nurkan Özek to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Ganix in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lara Peñaranda saved Beneficiente from getting behind. If Rômulo da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinaldo Leite during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Beneficiente's Antônio Souto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sandro Mesquita but with some difficulty. Sandro Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Zézinho Paulista sent off a good shot on target. td2's Paulo Ganix suffered a sore thigh after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Zé Pedro Viana's late challenge caught a td2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Pedro Viana helped the player get up and apologised. Beneficiente made a substitution. Romário Seco replaced Edgar Appel. In the 92nd minute, Zé Pedro Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lara Peñaranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo da Silveira in the 95th minute of play. After 96 played minutes td2 got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Correia. Beneficiente's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
