Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wanderson de Toledo kicked off to start the match. Melikertes Siannas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michal Osikowicz in the 4th minute. Ostrália's Josué Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, FRIENDS CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Osikowicz came free, but Melikertes Siannas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorginho Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FRIENDS CITY getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Wanderson de Toledo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Paraíba in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melikertes Siannas saved FRIENDS CITY from getting behind. In the 19th minute Ostrália were awarded a corner. Dudu Varela went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Chicão Alvarenga managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Melikertes Siannas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Paraíba in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, one of FRIENDS CITY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. FRIENDS CITY:s Melikertes Siannas showed great skill when he stopped Erasmo Paraíba:s penalty. Erasmo Paraíba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Melikertes Siannas made a huge save. In the 41st minute of the match, Erasmo Paraíba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melikertes Siannas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Erasmo Paraíba made the kick off in the second half. Ostrália's Dudu Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FRIENDS CITY's Melikertes Siannas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Varela in the 54th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Gomes's late challenge caught a Ostrália's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fabiano Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. Luiz Fabiano Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Dudu Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ostrália made a substitution. Narciso Proença replaced Erasmo Paraíba. Melikertes Siannas came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Ostrália's Narciso Proença. But to his dismay, Narciso Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Melikertes Siannas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Alvarenga in the 65th minute of play. Ostrália's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dudu Varela in the 68th minute. Ostrália's Dudu Varela was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Melikertes Siannas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ostrália's Narciso Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melikertes Siannas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Proença in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Michal Osikowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ostrália's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Osikowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melikertes Siannas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Ostrália's Chicão Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melikertes Siannas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Ostrália made a substitution. Pedro Paulo Penha replaced Adhemar Arósio. Narciso Proença hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Narciso Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FRIENDS CITY defense, Chicão Alvarenga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melikertes Siannas. The FRIENDS CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melikertes Siannas should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, FRIENDS CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Proença came free, but Melikertes Siannas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Michal Osikowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ostrália's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Osikowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melikertes Siannas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ostrália fans cheered their team off the field, for while FRIENDS CITY had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
