Sandro Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Matheus Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute Antônio Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Lúcio da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC La Masia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, FC La Masia's Lúcio da Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandro Mesquita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 20 minutes into the game, Lúcio da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sandro Mesquita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC La Masia's Cesinha do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Ganix in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in td2's zone, Antônio Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Mesquita came out of the goal and Antônio Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lúcio da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC La Masia's goalkeeper Cesinha do Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesinha do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Ganix in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 57thth minute of the game Rômulo da Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC La Masia's Cesinha do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antônio Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sandro Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio da Rocha. FC La Masia made a substitution. Tony Quadros replaced Alexsandro Correia. Lúcio da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to FC La Masia getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Diogo Bittencourt hit a great ball. Sandro Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Simão in the 67th minute of the match. When Vitinho de Moraes fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored td2's protests and gave Vitinho de Moraes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Vitinho de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in td2's zone, Lúcio da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Mesquita came out of the goal and Lúcio da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of td2 booed when FC La Masia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio da Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandro Mesquita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio da Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 minutes, Ilie Florescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC La Masia and the td2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC La Masia's Ilie Florescu got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute of the match Nurkan Özek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesinha do Vale skillfully saved the ball. FC La Masia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of td2 for a fine match.
