Rodrigo Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zézinho Paulista in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Berkant Canel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lara Peñaranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Beneficiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Berkant Canel was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube União Popular's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Beneficiente booed when Clube União Popular was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Wilian Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beneficiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilian Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lara Peñaranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berkant Canel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Berkant Canel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrézinho Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lara Peñaranda having to interfere. Edgar Appel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Rodrigo Amorim made a huge save. In the 43rd match minute, Clube União Popular was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Edgar Appel notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Clube União Popular's Rodrigo Amorim. Rodrigo Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Souto couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beneficiente's goalkeeper Lara Peñaranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodrigo Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zézinho Paulista went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Amílton Luz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Zé Pedro Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With his leg Lara Peñaranda managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Clube União Popular's Berkant Canel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 68thth minute of the game Zézinho Paulista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube União Popular's Rodrigo Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Clube União Popular fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Amorim should have stopped the shot. In the 84thth minute of the game Antônio Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube União Popular's Rodrigo Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
