In the 3rd minute Edgar Appel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Tróia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Appel's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Antônio Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes of play, Beneficiente's Edgar Appel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Tróia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 15 minutes, Edgar Appel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beneficiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Appel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute Antônio Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Cacá Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes Bola FC got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Mendes. In the 21st minute, Edgar Appel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Tróia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, Edgar Appel notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bola FC's Paulo Tróia. Paulo Tróia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute Edgar Appel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edgar Appel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Tróia was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Antônio Souto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beneficiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When Wilian Santos came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Beneficiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilian Santos couldn't finish the play. Antônio Souto might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Tróia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antônio Souto ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Appel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Tróia having to make a save. Paulo Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Edgar Appel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Paulo Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Beneficiente's Edgar Appel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Tróia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Antônio Souto took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Paulo Tróia to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Edgar Appel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Tróia was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Paulo Tróia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Appel in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Appel in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Tróia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílton Luz in the 61st minute of play. In the 68th minute Antônio Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Tróia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Bola FC booed when Beneficiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beneficiente's goalkeeper Lara Peñaranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Antônio Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Beneficiente's Edgar Appel in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bola FC's goalie prevented a goal. Beneficiente's Edgar Appel managed to work through Bola FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edgar Appel dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Antônio Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Benedito Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beneficiente's Romário Seco was substituted for Edgar Appel. Beneficiente's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
