When Andrézinho Simões fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube União Popular's protests and gave Andrézinho Simões a yellow card for diving instead. FC La Masia made a substitution. Perivaldo Valle replaced Evaristo da Silva. In the 84th minute, Andrézinho Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antônio Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Amorim having to interfere. Rodrigo Amorim was a little too slow when Antônio Simão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-6. The Clube União Popular fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC La Masia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
