The td2 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ostrália were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Ganix to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in td2's zone, Erasmo Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Mesquita came out of the goal and Erasmo Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 minutes, Chiquinho de Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ostrália and the td2 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Ostrália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Chiquinho de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Ostrália's Narciso Proença nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ostrália played a much better game than td2 and deserved their victory. The td2 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
