Cascavel's Lucas Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Cascavel from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Bengtsson in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Mundial EC's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Marquez came free, but Raphael Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enio Marquez in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Cascavel got a corner. Mundial EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardinho Lima ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Cascavel's Enio Marquez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Şehzade Tecer got a free kick in the 14th minute. With an all-out effort, Mundial EC's Lucas Trigo threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils Bengtsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lucas Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Varela in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Delfim Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mundial EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Balada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lucas Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raphael Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Encuțescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cascavel's goalkeeper Lucas Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adam Encuțescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Penha having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Mundial EC's Alessandro de Sousa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alessandro de Sousa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mundial EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alessandro de Sousa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 41st minute, André Balada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mundial EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mundial EC's Delfim Varela was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Encuțescu was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Balada in the 53rd minute of play. Léo Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, Mundial EC's André Balada made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 60 minutes, André Balada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mundial EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Balada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Adam Encuțescu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Cascavel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Encuțescu couldn't finish the play. If Enio Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Trigo having to interfere. Filip Milan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Cascavel's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Varela came free, but Lucas Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Encuțescu in the 76th minute. Raphael Penha made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Mazinho de Sena sent off a good shot on target. Cascavel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardinho Lima in the 81st minute. A nice corner shot did that Ricardinho Lima got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raphael Penha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Cascavel defense, André Balada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Trigo. The Cascavel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Trigo should have stopped the shot. Delfim Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lucas Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Léo Chaves got a free kick in the 90th minute. Raphael Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Lima in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Cascavel got a corner. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mundial EC.
