Wilian Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jeferson Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everest Futebol Clube's Jeferson Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Paulista in the 10th minute of play. Jeferson Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the game, Zézinho Paulista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jeferson Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivo Valle hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Edgar Appel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beneficiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Appel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeferson Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Beneficiente's Edgar Appel in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 39th minute Edgar Appel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Wilian Santos notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Everest Futebol Clube's Jeferson Fontes. Jeferson Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lara Peñaranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Falcão in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Appel made a kick off. Lara Peñaranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Mineiro in the 56th minute of the match. Edgar Appel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Jeferson Fontes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Beneficiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The attack was good, but when Oséias Falcão in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Oséias Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lara Peñaranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lara Peñaranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oséias Falcão went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Mineiro in the 89th minute of play forced Beneficiente's goalkeeper Lara Peñaranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beneficiente's Wilian Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Beneficiente got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Pitta. The Everest Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Beneficiente were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
