Gustavo de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilmar Dante in the 21st minute. Diguinho Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diguinho Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diguinho Berger hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gustavo de Godoi came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bola FC's Gilmar Dante. But to his dismay, Gilmar Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 26th minute, Arthur Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Tróia. Bola FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 32 minutes of play, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Aloísio Castro made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Tróia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Barbosa in the 35th minute of the match. Gilmar Dante's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Gustavo de Godoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bola FC's zone, Isaltino Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Tróia came out of the goal and Isaltino Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arthur Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Benjamin Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bola FC and the A.D.PADRE MIGUEL players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of A.D.PADRE MIGUEL booed when Bola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilson Santana hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Paulo Tróia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rui Lima. Aloísio Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Tróia having to interfere. Paulo Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Barbosa in the 59th minute of play. Arthur Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Paulo Tróia made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Bola FC's Benjamin Carioca got a free kick in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Bola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Toledo came free, but Paulo Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bola FC's Valdomiro Amorim got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Isaltino Toledo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Arthur Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Paulo Tróia made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaltino Toledo in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Tróia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute Isaltino Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Paulo Tróia made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Aloísio Castro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D.PADRE MIGUEL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. After some careless play in the Bola FC defense, Aloísio Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Tróia. The Bola FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Tróia should have stopped the shot.
