Spectators: 7683 (Terracing: 5763, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nils Bengtsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Remo Aguiar hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Cláudio Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeferson Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Bengtsson in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Nils Bengtsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeferson Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jeferson Fontes came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Mundial EC's André Balada. But to his dismay, André Balada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Everest Futebol Clube's Oséias Falcão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raphael Penha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raphael Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Jeferson Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Bengtsson in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Nils Bengtsson made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Everest Futebol Clube's Jeferson Fontes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeferson Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute of the match Mundial EC got a corner. Everest Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Will de Backer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mundial EC's Delfim Varela was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeferson Fontes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 36th minute Igor Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Cláudio Botelho notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Mundial EC's Raphael Penha. Raphael Penha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeferson Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Bengtsson in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Nils Bengtsson notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Everest Futebol Clube's Jeferson Fontes. Jeferson Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, Mundial EC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Mineiro came free, but Raphael Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, André Balada made a precise shot to the right of Jeferson Fontes. Everest Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Mineiro was the one to do the kick off. Raphael Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Şehzade Tecer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mundial EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Delfim Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mundial EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfim Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute Delfim Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Botelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Raphael Penha made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Mathias Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Mundial EC's Will de Backer tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jeferson Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şehzade Tecer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Botelho's late challenge caught a Mundial EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio Botelho helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Everest Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Botelho. In the 83rd minute, Nils Bengtsson made a precise shot to the right of Jeferson Fontes. Everest Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Raphael Penha made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Oséias Falcão sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Everest Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mundial EC.
