Spectators: 7017 (Terracing: 5764, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 153) Lara Peñaranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Paraibano in the 3rd minute of play. If Yuri Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Cascavel's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Terra came free, but Lucas Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Antônio Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beneficiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Beneficiente's Cafu Terra got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Cascavel's Yuri Paraibano in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beneficiente's goalie prevented a goal. Wilian Santos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Beneficiente's Antônio Souto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cascavel's zone, Antônio Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Trigo came out of the goal and Antônio Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cafu Terra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Lucas Trigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Cascavel booed when Beneficiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yuri Paraibano in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lara Peñaranda saved Beneficiente from getting behind. When Cafu Terra fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beneficiente's protests and gave Cafu Terra a yellow card for diving instead. Cafu Terra hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, Beneficiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian Santos to maneuver through the defense. Cesinha Aparecido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yuri Paraibano in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lara Peñaranda saved Beneficiente from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Yuri Paraibano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cascavel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

After 55th play minutes Yuri Paraibano shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Lara Peñaranda and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 59th minute of the match, Yuri Paraibano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lara Peñaranda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 60 played minutes Beneficiente got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Aparecido. After 64 minutes, Yuri Paraibano made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Beneficiente's Lara Peñaranda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Enio Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yuri Paraibano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Lara Peñaranda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucas Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of Beneficiente booed when Cascavel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Beneficiente's Cesinha Aparecido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 82nd minute, Augusto Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lara Peñaranda made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Yuri Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. Yuri Paraibano struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Lara Peñaranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascavel. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cascavel eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
