In the 13thth minute of the game Anísio França who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube União Popular's Rodrigo Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Clube União Popular's zone, Lauro Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Amorim came out of the goal and Lauro Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes Clube União Popular got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Simões. Gustavo de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Alagoano in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's goalkeeper Gustavo de Godoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
