Lucas Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everest Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cláudio Botelho in the 8th minute. The corner led to Everest Futebol Clube's Dieguinho Fernandes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lucas Trigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Mineiro went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lucas Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Oséias Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Oséias Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Jeferson Fontes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Cascavel's zone, Igor Mineiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Trigo came out of the goal and Igor Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Igor Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lucas Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucas Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Oséias Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Everest Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséias Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oséias Falcão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Trigo having to make a save.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Mineiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Oséias Falcão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucas Trigo. Oséias Falcão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Cascavel's Lucas Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Cascavel from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Cascavel's goalkeeper Lucas Trigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséias Falcão. Oséias Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Trigo having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Igor Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Oséias Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Everest Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséias Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cascavel's Mazinho de Sena got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cascavel's goalkeeper Lucas Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cascavel's zone, Igor Mineiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Trigo came out of the goal and Igor Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Mineiro's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Ricardinho Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Everest Futebol Clube's Cláudio Botelho tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lucas Trigo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Paulão Lara sent off a good shot on target. When Everest Futebol Clube's Igor Mineiro in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cascavel's goalie prevented a goal. After 90 played minutes Everest Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Valle. Jeferson Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ademar Abraão's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Lucas Trigo was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Paulão Lara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulão Lara really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The Everest Futebol Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
