After a rather tough play, Beneficiente's Cesinha Aparecido got a free kick in the 7th minute. Veysel Tuğkun charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veysel Tuğkun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Mundial EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veysel Tuğkun to maneuver through the defense. Nils Bengtsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lara Peñaranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Lara Peñaranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Bengtsson's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Appel made a kick off. Cesinha Aparecido hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Bengtsson in the 55th minute of play forced Beneficiente's goalkeeper Lara Peñaranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Bengtsson in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lara Peñaranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Mundial EC booed when Beneficiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lara Peñaranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Balada in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, one of Beneficiente:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Beneficiente:s Lara Peñaranda showed great skill when he stopped André Balada:s penalty. 64 minutes into the match, Mundial EC's goalkeeper Raphael Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Appel. In the 72ndth minute of the game Nils Bengtsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beneficiente's Lara Peñaranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Cesinha Aparecido got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Raphael Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Appel's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Appel got free with Raphael Penha in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Appel in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raphael Penha saved Mundial EC from getting behind. In the 92nd minute of the match Veysel Tuğkun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lara Peñaranda skillfully saved the ball. Beneficiente's Romário Seco was substituted for Edgar Appel. Romário Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Raphael Penha could save by the left post. The Mundial EC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
