The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Delfim Varela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Tróia was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Tomás Senna took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Tróia. Paulo Tróia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Paulo Tróia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Senna went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mundial EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Will de Backer in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on Mundial EC's corner Will de Backer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulo Tróia quite easily take care of the ball. Valdomiro Amorim was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, one of Bola FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Mundial EC. Delfim Varela stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulo Tróia. 0-3. Paulo Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Guerra during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Bola FC got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Guerra. Tomás Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Paulo Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wesley Prado during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wesley Prado hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Bola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Will de Backer came free, but Paulo Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Tomás Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Tróia. Bola FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Tomás Senna scored 0-5 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Tróia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amílton Munhoz to make the kick off. Tomás Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Tróia having to interfere. Paulo Tróia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Senna went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. A hard shot 60 in the game by Amílton Munhoz from a close distance when the talented Paulo Tróia managed to make a qualified save. Bola FC's players were relieved. In the 63rd play minute Tomás Senna came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulo Tróia. 0-7. 67 minutes into the match, Tomás Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Tróia. Bola FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. 76 minutes into the game, Tomás Senna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Tróia. Tomás Senna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Paulo Tróia came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Mundial EC's Tomás Senna. But to his dismay, Tomás Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. 87 minutes into the game, Mundial EC's Tomás Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Tróia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Amílton Munhoz scored 0-13 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Tróia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 96 played minutes Mundial EC got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Varela. Mundial EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
