When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Silvinho Custódio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Juvenal Fernandez. Rubens Oliveira scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juvenal Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvinho Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Fernandez having to interfere. If Rubens Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Parnagua AD's Silvinho Custódio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Silvinho Custódio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Juvenal Fernandez made a huge save. 42 minutes into the match, Parnagua AD's Rubens Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juvenal Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Aninim EC's goalkeeper Juvenal Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvinho Custódio. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

In the 59th minute Silvinho Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A beautiful save bye Aninim EC's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Parnagua AD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
