The supporters of FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA booed when Juriti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Sebastião de Lima notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Juriti's Fabiano Pitta. Fabiano Pitta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabiano Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mei Xiang Ting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mei Xiang Ting in the 27th minute of play forced Juriti's goalkeeper Fabiano Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Mei Xiang Ting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Juriti's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião de Lima came free, but Fabiano Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Juriti's Nando Fernandes got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Jacinto Piarres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Fabiano Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mei Xiang Ting in the 42nd minute of play forced Juriti's goalkeeper Fabiano Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juriti's Fabiano Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mei Xiang Ting in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Juriti's goal looked a bit too open when Mei Xiang Ting came free, but Fabiano Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Gaúcho to make the kick off. Juriti's Fabiano Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Juriti from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the game, Mei Xiang Ting recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabiano Pitta. Mei Xiang Ting showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. With a little luck, Juriti's Fabiano Pitta got control of the ball when José Maria Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute, José Maria Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabiano Pitta. The goal made the score 0-8. 65 minutes into the match, Juriti's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Cunha came free, but Fabiano Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Pitta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mei Xiang Ting in the 66th minute. Fabiano Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Cunha in the 69th minute of the match. Fabiano Pitta made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Jacinto Piarres sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aírton Pires got free with Fabiano Pitta in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Cunha in the 73rd minute of play forced Juriti's goalkeeper Fabiano Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Mei Xiang Ting took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Fabiano Pitta to make any attempt to save it. 78 minutes into the match, Mei Xiang Ting dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabiano Pitta, 0-10. Juriti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Mei Xiang Ting scored to the left of an out of position Fabiano Pitta, making the score, 0-11. Fabiano Pitta came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Gheorghe Ţopescu. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Ţopescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Maria Cunha got free with Fabiano Pitta in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute José Maria Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabiano Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Cunha in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juriti throughout the match.
