Dida Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Dida Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wesley Sá went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Alfredão Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dida Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredão Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Torres in the 29th minute of play forced Verneque FC's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wesley Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Taffarel having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesinha Dias was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Josué da Cunha could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Dida Taffarel however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Torres in the 60th minute of play forced Verneque FC's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Sá in the 63rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as FcktheSystem FC's Wesley Sá slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dida Taffarel. That made the score 0-11 after 65 minutes of play. In the 71st minute, Alfredão Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. Josué da Cunha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josué da Cunha got free with Dida Taffarel in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute Alfredão Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Cesinha Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Kossakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Verneque FC's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Teyo in the 89th minute of play. Verneque FC's Dida Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Verneque FC from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Nicanor Teyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Taffarel. Verneque FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Teyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-17. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Teyo in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Wesley Sá reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dida Taffarel. The goal made the score 0-18. When the match was over FcktheSystem FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Verneque FC throughout the match.
