Fabiano Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedih Oskan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedih Oskan in the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 minutes, Kléber Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juriti and the Sedex F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabiano Pitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Juriti's Felipe Vasconcelos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siro Abel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcos Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Siro Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gilberto de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Juriti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Juriti's goal looked a bit too open when Bedih Oskan came free, but Fabiano Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júlio Gaúcho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes Sedex F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafim Santos who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Juriti's corner Serafim Santos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Siro Abel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Bedih Oskan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabiano Pitta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 84th minute, Henrique de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juriti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Siro Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Gaúcho in the 95th minute of play.
