Mai Hontoria was slow to take the kick. During this time Fronteira's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fronteira's Mai Hontoria to fire away a dangerous shot which Sérgio Cearense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Raí de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Yin Zhen Zhen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulmo Pack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Sérgio Cearense made a huge save. A collision led to invictus getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Breno de Mendonça hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Silvinho de Senna notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of invictus's Sérgio Cearense. Sérgio Cearense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fronteira's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
