Pedrão Coelho took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emílio Zanette. Pedrão Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Pedrão Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio Zanette. Santos FC da ZL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrão Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 27th minute, Pedrão Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emílio Zanette was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Pedrão Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Santos FC da ZL getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dráuzio Leão hit a great ball. Emílio Zanette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrão Coelho's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Gökhun Gulabi's late challenge caught a Escorpios F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökhun Gulabi helped the player get up and apologised. Gökhun Gulabi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Emílio Zanette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Carlos Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute Pedrão Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão Coelho hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The supporters of Santos FC da ZL booed when Escorpios F. Santos FC da ZL's Emílio Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Sarmento in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrão Coelho in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Zanette saved Santos FC da ZL from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Santos FC da ZL's zone, Zé Carlos Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Zanette came out of the goal and Zé Carlos Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Gökhun Gulabi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escorpios F. C.'s Duarte de Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 minutes Escorpios F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilvan de Medeiros who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Santos FC da ZL's Xabier Waarsøe got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Pedrão Coelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Emílio Zanette was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrão Coelho got free with Emílio Zanette in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Escorpios F. C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
