If Durvalino Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natanael Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Duarte de Barros made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Lidberg in the 28th minute of play forced Giovana F C's goalkeeper Gian Weidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Escorpios F. C. defense, Durvalino Pinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte de Barros. The Escorpios F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte de Barros should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Durvalino Pinho made a kick off. When Natanael Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Giovana F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natanael Ceresso couldn't finish the play. Duarte de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Ceresso in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Escorpios F. C.'s Pedrão Coelho got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 66th match minute, Escorpios F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Lidberg to maneuver through the defense.
