In the 15th minute, FC Inter United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ayrton Senna fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Pelado's Téo Neves in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Inter United's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remo Martins during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes FC Inter United got a freekick which was hit by Remo Martins. 20 minutes into the match, FC Inter United's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ayrton Senna. Ayrton Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Renato Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ayrton Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. Hermínio de Carvalho hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC Inter United defense, Téo Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Renato Paulista. The FC Inter United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Renato Paulista should have stopped the shot. Paulo Renato Paulista stood somewhat misplaced when Téo Neves came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. 37 minutes into the match, Ayrton Senna notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Inter United's Paulo Renato Paulista. Paulo Renato Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Inter United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Téo Neves scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Renato Paulista, making the score, 5-0. If Téo Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emílio Fernandes to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Téo Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th match minute, FC Inter United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Dantas to maneuver through the defense. Silvério Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Pelado's goalkeeper Silvério Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan Michael. FC Inter United were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Pelado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adan Michael took the corner. The supporters of FC Inter United booed when Pelado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Pelado players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
