Alvinegro Carioca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wang Fei Feng in the 8th minute. José Augusto Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Petrică Mercescu sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atak Sehriyar, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 23 minutes Alvinegro Carioca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Petrică Mercescu who took care of the corner kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atak Sehriyar to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Bruno Africano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The supporters of Alvinegro Carioca booed when GØRDÃØ TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Lago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Africano went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Petrică Mercescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Mendonça having to interfere. If Petrică Mercescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvinegro Carioca's José Augusto Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrică Mercescu in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Cássio do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Mercescu in the 78th minute of play forced Alvinegro Carioca's goalkeeper José Augusto Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atak Sehriyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Petrică Mercescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GØRDÃØ TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petrică Mercescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Lago was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Atak Sehriyar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Atak Sehriyar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Alvinegro Carioca were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over GØRDÃØ TEAM's much stronger midfield.
