CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Omar Duardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredão Montenegro during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfredão Montenegro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Flávio Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulk Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flávio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Hulk Fenomeno scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flávio Zonta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Genko Balevski was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. Genko Balevski hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in RedBull Sete Copas's zone, Edmundo Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flávio Zonta came out of the goal and Edmundo Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ulu Sina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA were awarded a corner. Edmundo Valle went to the cornerflag to take it. Hulk Fenomeno made a great header on CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's corner, it was just that RedBull Sete Copas's Flávio Zonta managed to reach the ball for a save. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by RedBull Sete Copas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Valle was slow to take the kick. During this time CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Edison Brena got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flávio Zonta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ulu Sina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Duardo having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hulk Fenomeno was the one to do the kick off. Gara Sim kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ulu Sina struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Omar Duardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RedBull Sete Copas. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Hulk Fenomeno got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hulk Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flávio Zonta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Erasmo Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Hermes in the 66th minute of play. If Hulk Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Erasmo Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. RedBull Sete Copas's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Duardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hulk Fenomeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Hermes came free, but Omar Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flávio Zonta came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edmundo Valle. But to his dismay, Edmundo Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Omar Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulu Sina in the 82nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on RedBull Sete Copas's corner Joélson Barral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Omar Duardo quite easily take care of the ball. Omar Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Hermes in the 86th minute of the match. Erasmo Hermes's late challenge caught a CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Hermes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, RedBull Sete Copas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Hermes to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Edmundo Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Flávio Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Edmundo Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The RedBull Sete Copas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's performance. The match ended with a win for CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA.
