Dragões de Campo Grande's Gandalf Bilbo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton de Salles in the 20th minute of play forced Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Ricardinho Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Vianna during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eriberto Dantas didn't quite understand what happened when in the 99 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barcelona F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dragões de Campo Grande.
