Cacá Carioca's late challenge caught a SANTOS FC- FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cacá Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FIEL TUPÃ's Cacá Carioca got a free kick in the 4th minute. Perivaldo Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Ekberg in the 10th minute of the match. Perivaldo Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacá Carioca went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Perivaldo Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Carioca in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, FIEL TUPÃ's goalkeeper Geovanni Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hudson Valadares. Perivaldo Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Ekberg in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes FIEL TUPÃ got a freekick which was hit by Quico Sánchez. If Luiz Paulo Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Göran Ekberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Freire during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FIEL TUPÃ booed when SANTOS FC- FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Perivaldo Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Carioca in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birol Refet in the 39th minute of play forced SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper Perivaldo Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perivaldo Salles came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by FIEL TUPÃ's Göran Ekberg. But to his dismay, Göran Ekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Perivaldo Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá Carioca in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kléber Botelho to make the kick off. Perivaldo Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cacá Carioca in the 51st minute. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Birol Refet scored to the left of an out of position Perivaldo Salles, making the score, 0-3. After 59th play minutes Birol Refet shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Perivaldo Salles and just under the crossbar into goal. 66 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Ekberg came free, but Perivaldo Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göran Ekberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Perivaldo Salles came out and tried to block the shot, but Göran Ekberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 75th minute. Perivaldo Salles made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Cacá Carioca sent off a good shot on target. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Perivaldo Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Ekberg in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Cacá Carioca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perivaldo Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 85thth minute of the game Cacá Carioca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Perivaldo Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Perivaldo Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quico Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the game, FIEL TUPÃ's Göran Ekberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perivaldo Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The SANTOS FC- FDFDF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FIEL TUPÃ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
