Paulão Barreto came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Luiz Paulo Vidal. But to his dismay, Luiz Paulo Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 35th minute, Natanael Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 38 in the game by Kléber Botelho from a close distance when the talented Paulão Barreto managed to make a qualified save. Desbravadores F C's players were relieved. Perivaldo Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Arvinte in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Eliseu Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulão Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vitalie Tabãrã to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Kléber Botelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulão Barreto was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After 55 minutes, Fiori Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desbravadores F C and the SANTOS FC- FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Botelho in the 68th minute of play forced Desbravadores F C's goalkeeper Paulão Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Desbravadores F C's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Botelho came free, but Paulão Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Botelho scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulão Barreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luiz Paulo Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes, Breno Brodel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SANTOS FC- FDFDF and the Desbravadores F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, SANTOS FC- FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Brodel to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Christian Montenegro in the 88th minute really tested Perivaldo Salles's skills. The referee ignored Desbravadores F C's protests and gave Eliseu Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Desbravadores F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Trigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Breno Cardozo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulão Barreto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SANTOS FC- FDFDF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
