The supporters of Especialista FC booed when Cambridge Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Dionísio got free with Sérgio Trevisan in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sérgio Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Coelho in the 38th minute of the match. Especialista FC's Cássio Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Especialista FC from getting a goal against them. Cássio Sarmento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kléber Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 71st minute.
