Paulão Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Trancoso in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Desbravadores F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar de Lima to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Desbravadores F C's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Trancoso came free, but Paulão Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes Desbravadores F C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mané Martins who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Arlindo Macedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulão Barreto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 22 minutes into the game, Gandalf Bilbo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulão Barreto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulão Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Trancoso in the 25th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Dragões de Campo Grande got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Messias. In the 32nd minute, Wilian Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulão Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Desbravadores F C's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Trancoso came free, but Paulão Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulão Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gandalf Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Paulão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 54th minute Adan Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desbravadores F C's Paulão Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Fonseca in the 57th minute of play. Zé Paulo Trancoso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulão Barreto came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Paulo Trancoso slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Dragões de Campo Grande's Zé Paulo Trancoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulão Barreto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Dragões de Campo Grande's Gandalf Bilbo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulão Barreto. That made the score 0-4 after 66 minutes of play. In the 79th minute Adan Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adan Leheren charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Leheren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dragões de Campo Grande had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
