Cambuquira FC's Zagloul Cambuquira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Trancoso in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Zé Paulo Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zagloul Cambuquira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 21st minute Tibúrcio Cambuquira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragões de Campo Grande's Zé Paulo Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Arlindo Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragões de Campo Grande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cambuquira FC the free kick. Cambuquira FC's Everardo Isidor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valdir Teixeira, made in the 30th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Carlos Alberto Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Samuel Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cambuquira FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragões de Campo Grande the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Samuel Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Cambuquira FC's Zagloul Cambuquira got control of the ball when Gandalf Bilbo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Zé Paulo Trancoso made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Dragões de Campo Grande's zone, Aleandro Cambuquira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardinho Moreira came out of the goal and Aleandro Cambuquira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Trancoso in the 54th minute of play forced Cambuquira FC's goalkeeper Zagloul Cambuquira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleandro Cambuquira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arlindo Macedo got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience held their breath when Ciro das Neves in the 63rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ricardinho Moreira's left hand side. Ricardo Vianna hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Everardo Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Moreira having to interfere. Zagloul Cambuquira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Laércio Dante hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Zé Paulo Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragões de Campo Grande's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Paulo Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zagloul Cambuquira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, Kauan Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragões de Campo Grande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cambuquira FC the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Messias to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dragões de Campo Grande getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Paulista hit a great ball. Tibúrcio Cambuquira scored 2-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardinho Moreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quentín Cambuquira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Cambuquira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Trancoso came free, but Zagloul Cambuquira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragões de Campo Grande were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cambuquira FC for a fine match.
