A collision led to Desbravadores F C getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Eusebiu Arvinte hit a great ball. In the 5th minute Perivaldo Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Ceresso hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Mauro Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 minutes of play, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Kléber Botelho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulão Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, Desbravadores F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Eusebiu Arvinte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kléber Botelho scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulão Barreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulão Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goalkeeper Geovânio Mineiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebiu Arvinte. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Perivaldo Salles in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulão Barreto saved Desbravadores F C from getting behind. Paulão Barreto came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by SANTOS FC- FDFDF's Kléber Botelho. But to his dismay, Kléber Botelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Desbravadores F C booed when SANTOS FC- FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Adan Leheren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Geovânio Mineiro, 1-3. The Desbravadores F C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SANTOS FC- FDFDF were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kléber Botelho to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Vitalie Tabãrã ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovânio Mineiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Paulão Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perivaldo Salles went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, Adan Leheren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovânio Mineiro. SANTOS FC- FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Leheren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. A collision led to Desbravadores F C getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Vitalie Tabãrã hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Vitalie Tabãrã left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desbravadores F C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-6. 4-7 became the score in the 78th minute when Kléber Botelho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Christian Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, SANTOS FC- FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Botelho to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SANTOS FC- FDFDF's zone, Eusebiu Arvinte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Mineiro came out of the goal and Eusebiu Arvinte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Kléber Botelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulão Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-8. Geovânio Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Arvinte in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SANTOS FC- FDFDF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
